How has it changed?

The current rate of increase of CO2 levels is ~3 ppm (parts per million) per year.

We have seen a present-day increase of 280 ppm per year since 2019. This increase is not natural.

Carbon emissions have changed drastically. The three factors that have drastically changed CO2 emissions are:

1. Transportation (accounts for 34% of all CO2 emissions since 2017)

2. Electricity Generation (accounts for 33% of all CO2 emissions)

3. Industry (accounts for 15.4% of all emissions)
